How to chose the most magical hotel at Disneyland Paris?
Hi !
When we go to Disneyland we always prefer to sleep in a hotel so we can stay longer in the parc without bothering about what time we have to leave. However there are several hotels in Disneyland Paris and it can be complicated to chose the right one. We tried several of them, so here are a few tips to help you find the perfect hotel for your stay. The Theme
Disneyland hotels are all based on Disney movies. So it's better to chose a hotel based on your favorite movies.
If you love Cars then I suggest you take a closer look at the Disney hotel Santa Fe which will plunge you into the fantastic world of our favourite cars, with rooms inspired by the films. 🚗
If you prefer the far West and cowboys to cars, the Disney Hotel Cheyenne might be better for you. 🤠
If you always loved Bambi you would rather stay at the Disney Sequoia Lodge, where the atmosphere is always cosy. 🐰🌳
For those preferring the Marvel cinematic universe, the Hotel New York the art of Marvel was made for you.😏

Distance from the parc
The theme is playing a very important role in choosing your perfect hotel, however it's also important to know how far each hotel is located from the parc. Every hotel offers a free shuttling service. If you take the shuttle, you will need only 8 min to reach he parc. However, the shuttles can be full at certain time (opening and closing of the parc) and you will have to wait on them (which can be a little annoying, when there is a longue queue). Having a hotel not too far away can so quickly become an important factor in your stay. Take also in consideration that when it's raining, or the weather is cold or simply after a long day in the parc, having to walk to a hotel is a challenge. The Disney Hotel Santa Fe and the Disney Cheyenne are 20 min walk away from the parc.
The Disney New Port and the Disney Sequoia Lodge are 15min walk away from the parc.
While the Hotel New York the art of Marvel is only 10 walk away from the parc.
Finally the Disneyland hotel is located at the entry of the parc, so you don't really need to walk.
If you decide to walk, for every hotel (excepte Disneyland hotel) you will pass trough the Disney Village, which is free and were you can enjoy very nice restaurants, gifts shops and a lot more amazing things (it is impossible to meet characters). The walk itself, along the lake is very nice.
The Price
Even if we try to forget it, the price of the Disney hotel is still a very important factor. I don't have the exact price as they constantly change. But you are welcome to check the Disney website for more information.
The Disney Hotel Santa Fe is the cheapest, followed by the Disney Hotel Cheyenne, then the Sequoia Lodge, the Disney New Port, followed by the New York the art of Marvel. Finally the Disneyland hotel.
Take also into account that some rooms might be more expensive than other inside the hotel (size of the room, view from the room, with/without a balcony...). The tickets for the parcs are normally included in the price of the hotel.
Other Hotels
In the category Disney Hotel, there is the Disney Davi Crockett Lounge (extremely far from the parc, but you are in nature).
Then there is Les Villages Nature Paris, which is 15min drive away from the parc. It's more like a small village where mostly in nature, where they offer you a lot of activities (swimming pools, spa, taking car of animals, bicycling, bowling...).
Partner Hotels allow you to sleep not to far from the parc, but at a cheapest price (free shuttle service 10min).
Extremely useful tip
#1 We stayed several times at the Sequoia Lodge, which we found very nice, not too expensive. We also stayed several times at the New Port, wich (having been renovated) is a bit better than the Sequoia Lodge, but also more expensive. We stayed one time after being renovated at the New York the art of Marvel, wich is incredible if you like Marvel and not too far from the parc. However it is I think colder and very expensive, so not our favourite. Finally our favorite is the Disneyland Hotel, after I'm still a girl who love princess and the colour pink. I can't count how many times we've been there. However we haven't been there since it's reopening.
#2 When we were in France, we were living far from Disney, so we had an incredible technique to enjoy every part of our trip, and I wanted to share it with you:
- we would drive for hours (almost a day) before arriving to Paris, very late
- so we would sleep at the Dream Castle Hotel, which is next to Disneyland
- in the morning, we would leave and check in at one of the Disney Hotel
- we arrived then at the parc at around 10 am
So if you arrive late at Disneyland, sleep the night before in a hotel next to the parc, so you can check in early the next day and be earlier in the parc.
So I hope this article will help you better plan your next trip to Disney. Have a magical day !
